Wanting to be able to sleep 3 inside the bus, we rapidly came to the conclusion that a Devon-style interior would suit us best - plus we were sold on the look of the curved interior cabinet of early Devon's.
We also wanted some modern touches like a compressor fridge (rather than a cool box) and basic hot water.
Kustom Interiors had done accurate reproductions of the devon interior - reversed for LHD - and were very happy to work with us and create a bespoke interior for us with devon values but that would accomodate our choice of fridge, and water heater (See Leisure Electrics & Fridge section).
So in May 2010 I stripped out our existing interior and Minty was transported across to North Cornwall for them to build and fit a new one. I had planned to replace the floor prior to this but ran out of time due to the unplanned replacement of the front beam.
So the interior went in over our old floor and replacement of that will have to wait until next year.
